Revda is a war widow. Her husband was killed during the genocide in Srebrenica. After the war she arrived to a city called Vogosca (Vogosca is close to Sarajevo), where she lives today with her daughter. She has taken a number of loans from First Islamic Microfinance Foundation which she used for different purposes. She bought land in Vogosca, where she build a small house. She makes naturally based herbal cosmetics, including also teas, creams, oils and soaps. Such products can help treat different conditions, even some cancers. In 2011 Revda completed a 6 month course in homeopathy. She picks the plants herself in the mountains, and some she grows in her garden.
She makes creams to improve circulation, to treat skin and liver cancer and others. She makes tea made from wormwood which can be used to treat a stomach infection called Helicobater pylori.
Tea for general wellbeing and anti-depressant is made from a combination of herbs including St. John’s wart and lemon balm.
